The Noise is a sonic pollutant, an audible byproduct of dark magic. This particular frequency of sound, released by accursed relics, dark magic, and the glyphic machines of Weirdkenners and Grimmers, can be detected as a low, discordant form of tinnitus which most describe as deeply unnerving. The Woodkenners tell that it is no mere sound, but a malignant intelligence that reaches into our world to sow chaos.
