Rhys and Lyle

Rhys and Lyle are a kindly, middle-aged couple who live in the newer suburb of K'reff. Before they settled here, they were traveling merchants, but they adopted a foundling, who they named Rylai. Now their merchant cart sits unused by their home, but they couldn't be happier with village life.

In the Bazaar, there is a two-story building where Rhys and Lyle do their business. A sign outside shows a picture of a crane carrying a kettle in its beak. The Crane and Kettle has been struggling in the past few years, as it must compete with so many new businesses in K'reff.

Rhys is an accomplished tinker, who employs several of the village's youth at The Kettlewright, her shop in the Old Bazaar.

Lyle is a shy tailor and amateur bug collector who plies his trade at the Crane, his shop in the Old Bazaar. He works alongside his wife, Rhys, who owns the tinker shop on the lower level of the same building. He knows the face of insects and is known for incorporating chitin into the garments he makes.
