Kings of Skyreach

The Mage-King Malket dwells upon the Black Tower in the Valley of Kings in the Southeast, its obsidian walls set with onyx and jet. It is said that he welcomes monsters into his court.

The Warrior-King Darios II reigns over the Southwest from Valorhall, ancestral home of the old families who founded the first schoficts. It is said that his sword never leaves his side.

The Merchant-King Rothgar rules the North from his palace in Pillory, the City of Coins. Ten years ago, the North was invaded by the Dark Sun, and Rothgar was allowed to continue ruling as a satrap of the Dark Sun, in exchange for an oath of fealty. It is said that his city was the first in Skyreach to mint coins of gold.
